2013 Golden Globes Trend: Natural Makeup

We had so much fun watching the Red Carpet looks for the Golden Globes Sunday night! There were so many beautiful, natural looks from some of our favorite starlets. Lucy Liu, Anne Hathaway, Sienna Miller, Stacy Keibler, and many more opted for fresh, minimal makeup. We love that these are looks we can wear every day and look just as beautiful as these leading ladies!

Here are all the details on how Lucy Liu wears NYX products to create this stunning look!

The Makeup
Celebrity Makeup Artist Kristofer Buckle "wanted to create a pristine and classic look without forgetting about the Hollywood glam factor of the Golden Globes!” He wonderfully captured Lucy’s natural beauty using the following NYX products:

Step 1: Prep the face with NYX HD Studio Photogenic Primer and apply HD Studio Photogenic Foundation in Soft Beige. Set with finishing powder.
Step 2: Contour the cheeks with Matte Bronzer in Medium, and apply Powder Blush in Rose Garden on the apples. Highlight the cheekbones with Illuminator in Chaotic.
Step 3: Apply white, cream, and brown shades from the NYX Natural Shadow Palette (NEW 2013 product!) on the eyes. To add definition, sweep Single Eye Shadow in Black on the outsides of the eyes. Finish with false lashes, Doll Eye Mascara and The Curve eyeliner along the top lash line.
Step 4: On lips, apply soft pink Xtreme Lip Cream in Candy Land.

For even more details on how Kristofer created this look, check out! We would LOVE to see how you would re-create this glowing, natural look using YOUR favorite NYX products! Tag us with your look on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram!
